by Amazon sells whole bean, ground, pods and instant in the UK. We currently track 14 products, in 200g, 100 pods, 2kg and 1kg. A brand that spans several formats is usually worth judging format by format — the same name can be excellent value in one and poor in another.

Best value in the range
Cappuccino Classic is the strongest value by Amazon currently offers: at £0.03 per cup it sits about 69% below the median cup price for instant coffee across everything we track. That is a comparison against the whole market, not against by Amazon's own list prices.
Who it suits
- Home espresso and cafetière drinkers, if the large-format bags are within your six-week window.
- Pod-machine owners — but check the compatible-capsule price for the same machine before committing.
- Anyone who wants a repeatable cup rather than a rotating single origin.
Value for money
On our own test — cost per cup against the median for the same format — by Amazon has at least one genuinely strong product in the range. That is a better result than most brands manage, and it is concentrated in the larger pack sizes.
